What Did Students Do?

Welcome back to school, families! It was great to see everyone this week!

These past few days, students have been engaged in learning tasks where they used descriptive words to stretch sentences. Students learned about descriptive writing and how to pop kernel (simple) sentences using adjectives and verbs. They created artwork reflecting techniques around gradient, hue and value. They wrote descriptive paragraphs about their art pieces. With it being Halloween this week, it provided a fun theme for us to engage in these skills and activities.
